About

A film festival for students,
made by students.

The Atlanta High School Film Festival is an annual event for high school and middle school filmmakers in the southern US. Hosted by The Westminster School’s StudioW production program, the festival is an opportunity for student filmmakers to showcase their films and gain recognition for their work. The submission process is easy, and the festival is free to attend!

ATLHSFF is proudly founded, sponsored, organized, and run by high school filmmakers from The Westminster Schools. Organizing this event is central to our mission as creators because we believe that “filmmaking is not just about making movies that matter, but also making movies matter.” Founded in 2018, our mission is to build one of the premier youth film festivals in the nation and spread our love for the cinematic arts to aspiring creators everywhere.
